Civic Voting is non-binding, so that it respects the role of the elected officials. Ballot initiatives are a form of direct democracy that bypasses representative government.
Our Civic Trust Builder app is for pro-democracy politicians & candidates, who are genuinely committed to expanding voter engagement —and— renewing the relationship between elected officials and their constituents. When a politician receives Civic Voting results contrary to a position they hold on issues or policies, they know that the Civic Trust Builder app will keep them transparently accountable to constituents. In addition, politicians will have the capability to further educate constituents on the politician’s position —or— change course. In either case, this interactive responsiveness will build trust.
Our launch strategy entails the politician hosting a People First! Town Hall: where everyone has a voice & a vote. Our People First! Voter Engagement Strategy aims to achieve super-majority levels of voter participation, starting with targeting Independent and young voters not motivated by partisan party politics.

Big money out of politics. Once politicians engage voters in terms of our People First! strategy utilizing our Civic Trust Builder app, expensive commercial advertising becomes unnecessary. In turn, politicians no longer need to rely on outside big money donors, special interest funding, PACs, etc. Small donor constituents will be energized to contribute, because now they are giving to put the voice of the people first! in their district/state. “Civic voter” constituents will become immune to big money oppositional advertising, because they are now engaged in a direct, trust-building relationship with their pro-democracy, People First! politician.
